Senior photos by Kelly Rockhold Photography

Jacinta was such a trooper!  We had a cold, cold day to do these photos, but she did a great job of looking warm!

Indoor photo sessions in your home!

We have moved indoors!  Since the winter weather has hit us hard here in Louisville,  it is sometimes too hard to do outdoor photo sessions in the cold.   Lately, I’ve been going to the client’s home, setting up my studio lighting and doing the photos in the warmth and comfort of their own surroundings.

A Collage of favorites from September

After the Groupon madness hit in early September,  you may have noticed that I got a little behind on posting to my blog.  :)     So over the next couple of weeks, I will be catching up with these little collages.     So here are some of my clients from the last 2 weeks in September and a couple in October.  See if you can find yourself!

the Weeds….

This family was seriously up for anything. They asked me to come to their “house in progress” and shoot some family pictures with the timber frame. I assumed that we would be shooting some photographs like this -

I love that photo, but I quickly learned that Dad Weed had some more daring shots in mind…

Kudos to Carrie for being willing to get up there like that…

Now, normally, I absolutely don’t allow anyone to do anything dangerous while we’re shooting, but the Weeds are friends, and this is their house and I’m pretty confident that they weren’t going to sue me if someone fell. :)

I’m so glad they called me out to do these once-in-a-lifetime photographs!
