First and foremost, your family session will be fun! We will have a fun couple of hours at a park, or downtown. You will laugh and play with each other. Kelly enjoys capturing who you are as a family and the fun you have together, not necessarily the traditional portrait. We will, of course, get a few traditional, everyone-smiling-at-the-camera, photos, but most of our time will be spent tickling, giggling, and playing games.
How to plan your clothing –
Match, but don’t match too much. In other words, don’t dress everyone in black tshirts and jeans. It is best to wear clothes in the same color family, like earthtones, or springy colors.
Here is a perfect example -
Plan to bring 2 outfits. One dressy and one casual, or both casual.
The more colorful, the better.
Layers are good, they make the photos more interesting.
No cartoon character tees. They will draw attention away from your beautiful child’s face.
Ladies, if you are at all self-conscious about your upper arms, you should definitely wear sleeves.
